In 1939 Tony Enright, W.J. Enright's son, came to work in the practice. Upon Tony's admission in 1942, and the departure of Henry Skilton into sole practise, the firm became known as W.J. Enright & Son. In 1981 Tony Enright resigned from the partnership to take up a lectureship in law at the University of Newcastle.
W.J. Enright & Son continued in existence with the employment in time of various
legal practitioners including: Patrick Wills, Anthony Enright (W.J. Enright's grandson), Diane Berry, Frank Oakes, Stewart Neely and Patrick Curran.
In 1999 the firm was renamed Enrights Solicitors. Over one hundred years of legal
practice has operated in Maitland under the Enrights name.
